Our friends at the Center for Healthy Churches released this discernment guide last week for Southern Baptist churches that are discerning their future in the denomination in the wake of recent conflict around churches that have women in leadership positions.
This guide is tailored specifically for Southern Baptists in the present context of women in leadership; however, churches in many denominations are either currently or have previously been in a situation where they discern whether they stay or leave their denomination of origin. This guide – with appropriate modification of questions – is an excellent resource for churches in the middle of a BIG decision or conflict.
