We have all heard it, perhaps so many times it borders on cliche: “We have always done it this way.” I’m sure – if you are reading this – have sat in on a meeting where everyone pitches ideas and someone pipes up with the above retort. We want to see church through the eyes of the glory days; or, maybe, it’s more about the idea that something not broken needs no ideas.
